In January last year, local band Viva Brother were signed by major label Geffin. Since then they have toured the UK, America and Japan and yet now a year on, the band are being left out in the cold.

The subject of how you get a fanbase has been confusing the finest artists for many a long year.

Open mic nights are incredibly advisable places for musicians to be; not only is it a great way to meet people in a relaxed environment, it's also a great place to hone your skills with very little pressure.

Tomorrow night sees another Between Two Worlds night - our young bands gig - hitting the stage at Norden Farm.
