Re-think High Street bus route change

I don't know what genius authorised stopping buses through Slough High Street where most people shop! Did they consider old people, the disabled, people with a heavy trolley or pushchairs? How far have we to walk to get to the shops?

The bus station is much too far to walk for us ‘oldies’ and then find our way back to a bus stop when we want to return home. I think the situation regarding this bus route change is not helpful for passengers.
