NHS consultation to feedback to patients
The consultation over the future of healthcare in East Berkshire is due to provide updates to a patient experience group in Ascot this month.
The Shaping the Future programme, jointly run by all elements of the NHS in East Berkshire, aims to find a long-term solution for hospital and community health services.
In the second newsletter, published yesterday, a joint statement from Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals chief executive Philippa Slinger and NHS Berkshire chief executive Charles Waddicor said: "We can't provide everything everywhere.
"We want to make sure we come up with the right options – even if it takes slightly longer than we had originally planned."
The programme is due to give updates to the patient experience group at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals and a joint meeting of the east Berkshire and south Buckinghamshire Local Involvement Networks (LINKs) early this month.
