A man suspected of walking into two hotels and a church and stealing various personal items from people has been arrested by police. A thief struck at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sunningdale on April 29, the Beaumont Estate hotel in Old Windsor on April 23 and Royal Berkshire Hotel in Sunninghill, on April 10.
Plans have been announced for a six-hour music festival in Sunningdale featuring swinging Merseyside Sixties band The Swinging Blue Jeans. The Sunningdale Music Festival has been organised by Sunningdale Parish Council to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Up to 2,000 festival-goers are expected to party away at Broomhall Recreation Ground in Broomhall Lane on Monday, June 4.
