Another man arrested over Olympic ticket touting at Eton Dorney
Another man has been arrested on suspicion of ticket touting at Eton Dorney Lake this morning.
The 37-year-old was taken into police custody shortly after 8.30am after being detained by security staff at the transport hub to the Olympic rowing venue at Windsor Racecourse.
The man is still being held in custody.
Supt Andy Standen, the Silver Commander of the policing operation, said: "Members of the public are reminded that tickets are not available at the venues and anyone caught selling tickets may be liable for arrest."
It is the fourth arrest in connection with selling Olympic tickets without authority at the venue since the Games began on Saturday.
A 59-year-old German man was charged yesterday with ticket touting after being arrested by police in Maidenhead Road, Windsor, on Sunday.
George Doran, of Scharnikau in Hanover, has been released on bail and is due to appear before Slough Magistrates Court on August 14.
Two other men, aged 36 and 39, held at Eton Dorney Lake on Sunday on suspicion of ticket touting, were cautioned and released from custody.
