Police officer and his wife have plea hearing put back
A police officer from Windsor Police Station charged with 17 counts of fraud has had his plea hearing put back.
Detective Sergeant Narinder Sahota, 49, was set to answer charges at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday but will now appear on September 12.
He is charged with nine counts of obtaining a mortgage by deception, five counts of defrauding Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), and three counts of perjury.
His wife Rajinder Sahota, 50, also faces four counts of obtaining a mortgage by deception and three counts of defrauding HMRC and will enter a plea at the same hearing.
