Slough Borough Council's ruling cabinet will get its first look at the designs for new homes and shops in Britwell at its meeting on Monday evening.

Tenders for designing and building new homes and shops on the northern part of Kennedy Park, Wentworth and Marunden Green have been received by officers and will be on display.

Tenders will be formally assessed by experts within the council and residents will also be involved in advising on what ideas they like best.

A booklet asking for opinions will be distributed across Britwell so people can comment, and the Britwell regeneration ‘shop’ in Wentworth Avenue will be open every afternoon and evening for five days from September 26-30.

Residents are being encouraged to drop in and have their say.
