About 2,000 athletes bravely stormed their way through the unpredictable weather at the 26th Windsor Triathlon on Sunday.
Triathletes were warmed up and ready to go at 6am, eager to take on the mammoth route centred around Alexandra Gardens, Windsor Great Park and the town’s historic centre.
A spokesman from organisers Human Race said: “The whole event went really smoothly thanks to our amazing crew and because all the athletes followed the instructions.”
Next year’s triathlon is due to return on June 18 and registration is already open with a £20 discount for early birds. Visit www.humanrace.co.uk for more information.
