An appeal in the Express last week is set to lead to an injured climber and a couple he says 'saved his life' in Wales being reunited.
Glen Couper was reading the plea of Roy Charlesworth for anyone who knew Geoff and Pam who he thought were from Windsor to come forward so he could thank them.
The 56-year-old was climbing in Snowdonia on February 15 when he fell and broke his ankle and the couple cared and helped get him safely off the mountain.
Glen read the story while reading for the Ascot and District Talking Newspapers in Sunninghill on Friday which triggered a meeting she had three weeks ago.
She realised her son is buying a house from a couple near Woking, called Geoff and Pam, who said they had daughters in Cheshire like Roy said in his appeal.
Glen spoke to the couple who said they had been trying to contact him, but were unable to as the number was incorrect and has now given them the correct number so they can call Roy.
