A Sun journalist based in Windsor accused of paying off public officials for information has made his first appearance in court.
Jamie Pyatt, 49, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today along with five other journalists from the national tabloid.
They were John Edwards, 49, Nick Parker, 52, Lucy Panton, Tom Savage, both 38, and Chris Pharo, 42.
All are charged with conspiring to corrupt prison officials at maximum security psychiatric hospital Broadmoor, police officers and officials with the British Army.
Pyatt and the other defendants are accused of paying them £30,000 for information between March 22, 2002 to January, 12, 2011.
All are due to appear for plea and case management hearing at the Old Bailey on August 6.
