Fundraising for Windsor's hospice will be one big drag this October.
Thames Hospice's first ever 'men only' fundraising event will invite local guys to find their inner 'Widow Twankey' and run five kilometres through Windsor Town Centre, raising money for the hospice in Hatch Lane as they go.
Dames on the Run will take place on Saturday, October 19 and to encourage people to sign up a photo campaign has been launched on Twitter featuring local guys in all their feminine finery.
Thames Hospice's events and community manager, Michelle Bowdidge said: “Dames on the Run is a really fun event. The fact that people are already really keen to get behind it and share their fun photos on twitter shows what good fun it can be."
Sign up to the event today at www.thameshospice.org.uk/dames or call Michelle Bowdidge on 01753 842121.
