An anonymous caller phoned police near Windsor and Eton Bridge and admitted to spending money on a card in a wallet he had found on the street.

The call was received at 9pm on Friday, January 31.

The man said he had found the wallet and a driving licence on the bridge.

Police said he then admitted using the cards twice to the amount of £18, but was feeling guilty and wanted to return the wallet.

The caller then hung up without giving his name.
