Windsor bar relaunches in honour of the Duchess of Cambridge
A pub in Windsor's Thames Street has been renamed in honour of the newest member of the royal family.
The former B Bar was officially relaunched last night as the Duchess of Cambridge - named after Kate Middleton - whose wedding to Prince William transfixed the nation two months ago.
Manager Oliver Shinn, 28, has been at the pub since January but has worked for the McMullens company, which owns it, for five years.
He said: "It was our area manager Virg Balthazard who came up with the idea of the new name.
"We could not have a more up to date image than to be named after the newest royal bride only a few weeks after the wedding.
"Customers think it's great."
