Colour runners raise cash for Farnham Common Infant School

Members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Farnham Common Infant School swapped pens for paint on Saturday.

The group, which consisted of five teachers and ten parents, took part in the Windsor 5K Colour Obstacle Rush at the Royal Windsor Race Course.

Founded in Finland in 2014, the race involves coloured powered paint being thrown on runners as they complete the course.

The members of the PTA were raising money for the school in Beaconsfield Road and had a target of £1,000.

So far they have exceeded their goal and have raised £1,190

The money will go towards buying new interactive whiteboards.
