Volunteers needed so girlguiding unit can reopen

An urgent call has gone out to adults to volunteer their services so a rainbow girlguiding unit can reopen after Easter.

The central Windsor branch need two people to help out at its Wednesday meetings from 4.30-5.30pm so young girls on a waiting list can attend sessions again.

District commissioner for girlguiding in central Windsor Sam Knight, said the section is 'always desperate for more people' and there is a real shortage.

"We had to shut the rainbow unit but now have one lady and need one or hopefully two more to help out so it can start again," she added.

"We have not got enough people to run our groups and we would like more volunteers across all of our sections."

Call Sam on 01753 862887 to volunteer.
