A 31-year-old man has been charged with a series of robberies in the Windsor area on February 11.
Mohammed Hussain, of Hanover Way, Dedworth, was charged in the early hours of this morning and was due to appear at Slough Magistrates Court today.
He is charged with one count of attempted robbery, three counts of robbery, and one count of making off without payment.
A 17-year-old girl had her handbag stolen in Albert Road, Old Windsor at 6.50am and a 15-year-old girl was also threatened and had her handbag stolen in Slough Road, Datchet between 6.50am and 7.50am.
At 7.30am a woman walking in York Road, Windsor was robbed of her handbag by a man who pulled up alongside her in a car before fleeing the scene.
A 71-year-old man also refused to hand over his wallet and ran to a nearby store when he was threatened by a man in Lyndhurst Road, Ascot, at about 6.05am on the same day.
