A retired dentist who has been fighting polio in India just became Windsor and Eton Rotary Club's new president.
Adrian Stabbins was a well-known dentist in Dedworth until his retirement.
Recently he and his wife Veronica spent time in India distributing vaccines as part of the Help Eradicate Polio from the World campaign.
The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Colin Rayner - himself a Rotary member - and Mayoress Samantha were among supporters who watched Mr Stabbins take on his new role.
Windsor and Eton Rotary Club is 80 years old this year.
