A soldier based at Victoria Barracks in Windsor has been found guilty of perverting the course of justice.
Jurors found Ashley Dacosta guilty at Hove Crown Court yesterday in relation to his racist attack on a 15-year-old schoolboy, which he had admitted.
Dacosta was found to have colluded to influence the evidence with Jack Carrick, 25, of Bexhill, Sussex, on how Carrick could support him in the GBH case.
Carrick was found guilty of two counts of perverting the court of justice.
Dacosta pleaded guilty to GBH and racially motivated GBH against Mo Bourner, now 16, in De La Warr Parade, Bexhill, Sussex, on October 29 last year.
The 20-year-old guardsman, whose last address given was Silvester Road, Bexhill, will be sentenced for both at the same court on Monday.
