Hollywood action hero Liam Neeson will be tapping into his very particular set of skills when he narrates an open air music and fireworks production of The War of the Worlds.
Jeff Wayne’s multimillion-selling musical version of the famous H G Wells sci-fi thriller is coming to the Royal Windsor Racecourse on Saturday, November 7.
The production will feature fireworks and special effects, including a 30ft high Martian and its deadly heat ray.
Liam Neeson, of Star Wars and Taken, will be lending his vocal talents as he tells of the Earth’s invasion by Martians.
Executive director at the racecourse, Stuart Dorn, said: "We are thrilled to be hosting this fireworks show at the racecourse.
“Liam Neeson’s voice is very recognisable and works amazingly well for narrating War of the Worlds.
“Along with all of the alien themed props it will be a show to remember, I’m sure.”
