A manufacturing company in Windsor which has been operating in the town for more than 80 years has agreed to sponsor a new kit for The Windsor Boys’ School Boat Club.
Keeler, which has its headquarters in Clewer Hill Road, said the investment was part of an ‘ongoing commitment’ to support the community where it is based.
The company specialises in designing and manufacturing products for optometrists, ophthalmologists, dentists and surgeons.
Abbas Sotoudeh, managing director at Keeler, said: “It’s a genuine privilege to be able to help out The Windsor Boys’ School in this way.
“Being a comprehensive, it doesn’t have the funds available to it that many private schools have.
“Despite that, The Windsor Boys’ School Boat Club is highly regarded and very successful.”
