Sachin Moudgil (62no) was undefeated as Maidenhead & Bray's top order clicked with the bat to chase down Amersham 2nds for victory by six-wickets on Saturday.
On what promised to be a good day for batting Amersham won the toss and took to the crease.
Their top order made a steady if unspectacular start, with Richard Stephenson (18), Simon Hunter (14) and Oliver Haddock (12) helping move the side onto 78-3.
The run-rate quickened following the introduction of Christopher Owen (30) and Daniel Colquhoun (29) before Faizal Aziz (3-26) made crucial inroads to check their progress.
A mini collapse was stemmed by a fine stand between Matthew Chapman (34) and Nicholas Buchanan (33) but the home side were bowled out for 211 in the 49th over.
Maidenhead & Bray's controlled run chase was typified by Moudgil – whose unbeaten 62 came from 75 balls.
Richard Lawrence opened with a patient 35 from 85 deliveries while chunky contributions also came from Ethan Walker (47) and Kieran Gray (25).
David Atkinson took 3-38 to chip away at their progress but momentum was with the visitors who got to their target for the loss of four wickets in the 46th over. They collect 20 points for the win.
Victory sees Maidenhead & Bray in fourth spot after four matches with two wins and two defeats to their name. They go to Kidmore End on Saturday.
