Marlow Ladies 1sts waved goodbye to the South Division 2 with an entertaining 2-2 draw with Hampstead and Westminster 2nds last weekend. It was another stunning season for the ladies, who secured their second promotion in a row.

Marlow will enter the South Division 1 next season, the highest level the ladies have played at. Captain Gemma Newberry said: “It’s been a joy to lead such a strong group of players on the pitch. We’ve had strength from our experienced team members and speed through our younger players and look forward to attacking South Div 1 from September.”

Marlow Ladies 4ths also won promotion to the Trysport Division 1 on the final day of the season.

Marlow clinched promotion with a 1-0 win over Wycombe 3rds thanks to Liza Rowles' strike. Their rivals for second place, Phoenix and Ranelagh 2nds had drawn earlier in the day to hand Marlow promotion.

Marlow men's 1sts lost 5-3 at home to Sonning. Marlow were looking to secure a top half finish, but will have to wait until the final game to do so.

James Ward grabbed a brace while Louis Cadinouche also scored in the defeat.

Marlow 2ndss drew 4-4 away at promoted Newbury with both James Ashburner and Harvey Loretto scoring twice.

The 3rds lost 5-3 to Wallingford, while the 4ths missed out on promotion as well as the title after losing 2-1 to Windsor 2nds. The 5ths sealed back-to-back promotions with a 4-0 over Windsor 3rds while the 6ths were also promoted with their 2-1 win against Thame 3rds.
