Classic cars including a Ford Capri and Morris Minor lined the boundary rope at Cookham Dean Cricket Club on Saturday for a vintage car show.
The event, organised by the South Midlands branch of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society (HCVS), allows vintage car owners from far and wide to turn up and show off their beloved motors.
A selection of cars, vans and bikes were on show including a 1952 Post Office Utility Van owned by HCVS South Midlands branch chairman John Ayre.
Profits from this year’s show will be put towards Thames Hospice in honour of the event’s founder, Pinkneys Green man Jim Webb who died four years ago.
Jim’s twin brother, HCVS member Ray Webb, 54, who owns the Forge Motor Company in Cookham, said: “We just say if its got wheels then bring it along.
“There’s no entrance fee but if people can put a pound in the bucket then it helps a great cause.”
