Magpies to support Boots2Africa charity at Leyton Orient game

Maidenhead United’s Magpies in the Community group are looking for donations of old boots, astros, trainers, kit and accessories to help the charity Boots2Africa.

The Magpies will be accepting donations of old boots and kit at their fixture with Leyton Orient on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.

The cause is backed by Magpies goalkeeper Carl Pentney, whose academy is a sponsor.

Boots2Africa founder Iain Finch said: “We are looking for donations of Boots, Astros, trainers, kits and accessories.

“We are a start-up micro charity who in just two years have delivered over 7000 pairs of donated boots and 15,000 items of kit and accessories to children in nine African countries.

“We are delighted to have Carl Pentney Keeper Academy (http://www.carlpentney.co.uk/) as our sponsor for this year."
