Hattie Parkinson, Becky Tinnelly and Violet Kinston-Wheeler all made their debuts as Maidenhead u14s Girls began their campaign with a 4-2 win over Wargrave.
The side were beaten 2-1 and 6-1 in their respective clashes with Wargrave last season but on this occasion Tinnelly and Emily McMaster both scored twice to get the season off to a flying start.
With no substitutes to call on the girls had to dig deep in the 26-degree heat and their coach has called on the side to focus on maintaining possession and communication this season.
This weekend the team takes on last season's champions, Thatcham Town.
An exciting but hard fought opening game resulted in a 4-4 draw between Maidenhead u18s Santos and Wargrave Wolves.
Lewis Haigh, Ben Skudder, James Freeman and Jay Hill were all on target for Santos.
The u18s Anacondas found life much tougher in their Division 3 clash with Burghfield, going down 5-0.
The u16s Boys got off to a flyer in Division 4, beating Burghfield Reds 5-2 at home while the u15s Boys Cobras lost 7-3 on the road at Pinewood Panthers in Division 5.
But Abdul Zaman and Ryan El-Hawary scored three great goals for the side.
The u14s Colts received a baptism of fire in Division 7, losing 15-0 to Finchampstead Dynamos while the u12s Panthers were also defeated, losing 5-1 at Spencers Wood Typhoons in EBFA Division 6.
The u12s Dolphins overcame the Whiteknights Werewolves 5-0 in BYDL Division 1. The u16s Girls lost their BCGFL Division 1 clash at AFT Crystals 4-0.
