An interactive artwork by students was unveiled on Tuesday.
Three visual merchandising students from East Berkshire College created two 6ft trees for Windsor Baptist Church.
They aim to reflect the ‘values and diversity’ of the church in Victoria Street.
Frankie Di Gangi, Manisha Kumar and Diya Seepaul designed the trees for the quiet balcony of the church.
Visitors to the church can write a message on a leaf and hang it on the trees.
Frankie, 19, said: “We’ve never done anything quite like this before and the experience has taught us a lot about teamwork and working to a client brief.”
The church approached the college after seeing window displays created by students at the St Leonards Road campus.
Community pastoral manager Kate Saunders said: “We’ve had a very positive response from people who have seen it, with many commenting on how it joins the different areas of the building together.
It is something that is going to be used and loved by the community for years to come.”
