Krispy Kreme store opens in Windsor

Staff Reporter

Shoppers flocked to Peascod Street for the opening of a new Krispy Kreme store on Tuesday, February 6.

The outlet which specialises in glazed doughnuts is the 109th to open in the country.

The launch saw student Jamie Webb win a year’s supply of doughnuts for being the first in the queue.

He said: “ As soon as I heard that there was a Krispy Kreme opening right by my college I knew I wanted to be the first in line to get my hands on a year’s supply of doughnuts, I can’t wait to tell my friends and family – they’re going to be so excited.”

Neil Williamson, operations director at Krispy Kreme said: “Thank you to everybody who came down to our opening on Peascod Street today, we’ve a wonderful time meeting some of our Windsor fans.”
