Work starts to make temporary roundabout at Windsor Leisure Centre junction permanent

Work has begun to make the temporary roundabout at Windsor Leisure junction permanent.

There will be temporary traffic lights at the junction for about three weeks during 9.30am-4pm whilst work is taking place.

The Royal Borough is constructing a raised Zebra crossing at the junction, building a kerb at the junction, doming the mini-roundabout island and completing road marking and signage works.

A temporary roundabout was installed on the site back in June.

The site previously had traffic lights but the scheme was put forward to ease congestion after consultation with residents.
