Roy’s boys have crossed the channel and kicked off their Euro 2016 campaign with a frustrating 1-1 draw with Russia. A nation expects but which country will be crying out ‘C’est super!’ as the last men standing? We asked a few familiar faces to make their predictions.

Can England put an end to 50 years of hurt? Not a chance. Tournament football is completely different to the qualifiers.
What’s the best thing about major tournaments? When you get out of the group’s it’s do or die. I love the competitiveness of it.

Can England put an end to 50 years of hurt? As much as I want us to I just don’t think we’re good enough defensively.
What’s the best thing about major tournaments? I love it when fans from all the different clubs get behind England.
