The host club performed well at the annual Maidenhead Boys & Girls tournament at Braywick over the weekend.
Maidenhead Boys & Girls under-14s Yellows were winners of the trophy final after overcoming club colleagues the Blues on penalties.
Both teams started off well in the group stage with early successes before they were pegged back leaving both teams ended up with identical records.
A coin toss split the teams in the knockout phase, however after some brave performances both teams faced each other in the trophy final.
With the kind of spirit that is the core of the team the match was well fought and fittingly went to penalties.
By the end it was the Yellows who triumphed after one Blues spot-kick was missed.
Maidenhead Girls under-11s Whites retained their title after remaining unbeaten and without conceding a goal.
They won their final 5-0 and scored 23 goals in total.
The under-11s Blues reached the semis before losing to the Whites.
Maidenhead Girls under-12s Whites finished as runners-up losing in the final on penalties to Ascot.
The under-12 Blues were sixth in their group.
Maidenhead Girls under-14s Whites reached the semi-finals before losing 1-0 to Mole Valley, the same side who knocked out Maidenhead’s Blues in the quarter-finals also 1-0.
Maidenhead Girls under-15s, but made up of mostly under-14 ;layers, finished fifth in the group stage, while the under-15s Whites came sixth in their group.
Maidenhead Boys under-10s Foxes enjoyed a successful tournament, finishing as runners-up in the trophy final.
Maidenhead Girls under-10s Whites beat Ruislip Rangers on penalties in the final after the match finished 0-0.
They overcame club colleagues the Blues in the semis, also coming through on penalties.
