A judge sentenced a 47-year-old man to a total of 16 months behind bars for five offences today.
Gary Humphrey, of Hanover Way, Windsor, appeared at Reading Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to the offences, which were committed on June 21 and July 5 last year.
He was jailed for dangerous driving, assaulting a woman by beating her, actual bodily harm, and for two charges of possessing cannabis.
Humphrey was also disqualified from driving for two years.
Charges of using a rowing oar as an offensive weapon, stealing a BlackBerry phone from a woman, and damaging hair straighteners worth £190 were ordered to remain on file.
