A schoolboy has been left devastated after a thief pinched his beloved scooter from the porch of his home in Windsor.
Luca Pepin, nine, had his black Maxi Micro Scooter stolen in Maidenhead Road sometime from 6pm on Monday and 8.20am on Tuesday.
His mother Kate said her son, who attends St Edward's Middle School in Parsonage Lane, used the £100 scooter every day for the year he had it.
The mother-of-two said: "He was so upset when he saw it was gone.
"They are a lot of money and we cannot pay out to replace it.
"He used it all the time with his friend and to go to and from school."
She said the scooter is distinctive as it has cream tape wrapped around the vertical pole near the handlebar.
If you see any scooters abandoned or have information about Luca's call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
