A thief walked into a charity shop in Windsor stealing staff members' purses and a donation tin - but was stopped from taking them by a brave employee.
Police said it took place at 1.30pm on Saturday at the British Heart Foundation shop in Amberley Place in King Edward Court.
The man was caught stealing the cash tin and purses from the safe but a staff member apprehended and forced him to hand them back.
The thief then pushed his way past staff and customers and legged it into Peascod Street.
He is described as white, 6ft tall, with a clear complexion, and was possibly wearing a blue Barbour style jacket and dark trousers.
