The Queen spent last night at Buckingham Palace after leaving hospital early yesterday afternoon.
She smiled and shook hands with staff at London's King Edward VII hospital before leaving for the palace in a red Bentley.
Her engagements for this week have all been cancelled. It had been her first hospital stay for 10 years.
The Queen had started to show symptoms of gastroenteritis on Friday and was unable to attend a St David's Day military parade in Swansea on Saturday.
But she made a point of presenting a medal to long serving staff member Janet Doel on Sunday morning before being taken to hospital for tests.
The tests will have been to check that there are no underlying causes for the Queen's symptoms.
