A bowling club in Windsor will celebrate 100 years with two open days.
Sunningdale Bowling Club is starting centenary celebrations on Saturday, April 20 at 2.30pm when the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Colin Rayner will planting of a commemorative rose.
The Whitmore Lane club will invite anyone interested in the club or bowling to meet the members.
The club will also unveil their new club shirts before the President’s v Captain’s match on Sunday, April 21.
This will also be an open day and a chance for people to try the sport (bring flat soled shoes).
Events planned to mark the centenary also include a Gala Day with a 1913 theme on Saturday, July 6.
