Community members in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead are wanted to take part in a innovative aircraft noise project.
In February, the council called for 'community champions' to lead the way in an initiative monitoring and mapping aircraft noise from aircraft landing at and taking off from Heathrow Airport.
Householders coordinating the project about people affected by aircraft noise will be trained by the council's public protection team on Tuesday at 4pm at Maidenhead town hall.
The Raise Your Voice campaign called for volunteers to help implement the roll-out of the WideNoise mobile phone app.
It allows residents to record, monitor and log aircraft noise under Heathrow flight paths, which can be added to debates and to possibly influence central government plans.
The training is expected to last no more than an hour and anyone interested in the project is invited to come along and take part.
