Hopefully it will not be 'lovely weather for ducks' when this year's Royal Windsor Midsummer Fair comes round.
But the annual duck race which forms a major part of the event will be taking place as usual at Bath Island near Alexandra Gardens on Saturday, June 29.
The ducks are plastic and on sale at £2 every Saturday in June until a week before the event - between 10am and 4pm at King Edward Court.
Businesses or individual supporters can pay £25 for a special red British Beefeater duck. The winning prize is £500. Money raised by the fun event will be split towards new Christmas lights for Windsor and a variety of Rotary charities.
The fair itself takes place at the same time starting at noon and based at Alexandra Gardens. It will boast nearly 40 charity and trade stalls with a chance to win a day on the Thames for 10 people with Kris Cruisers.
More sites for stalls are still available. Visit www.windsorandetonrotary.org.uk
