This year's Old Windsor Carnival Queen has been crowned.
Xuxa Kidd, 15, received her crown at Saturday's scout and guide fair held at Kings Court School in Ashbrook Road. Her attendant Kirsty McLean was also confirmed in her position.
During the fair the princesses and sprites who will accompany them in the carnival procession in three weeks were also chosen.
The princesses are Lydia Sampson and Imogen Cobbold, both nine. The sprites are Cameron Allan, eight and Brodie Laing, seven.
The carnival will take place on Saturday, June 8 at the recreation ground.
Saturday's fair was mainly about raising money for the village scouts and guides though. A good turn out of people saw a profit of £2,500 raised.
