Waterstones in Windsor may be facing management job losses following the announcement of a nationwide scheme introduced by the company to rebrand its store management.
Starting from June 3, and taking at least 45 days, there will be an overhaul of the management structuring in the stores.
The plan is to scrap the roles of branch, assistant, general and deputy managers and replace them with a single ‘Bookshop Manager’.
It is not yet known how many people will be made redundant.
The Windsor branch of Waterstones was unable to comment.
