A police investigation is underway into a report of rape in Windsor in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The incident happened just before 3am, when a 19-year-old woman left Liquid nightclub in William Street and went to get a taxi.
Two men approached her on Victoria Street and told her they were driving a taxi, and she got into their car in Alexandra Road.
The victim was sexually assaulted as the car drove off, before she managed to escape the car and run away when it stopped.
The men are described as Asian and the car is believed to be a large five-seater in the style of a black cab.
Police have urged members of the public to only use licensed taxis and, where possible, to book with a licensed company in advance.
