A man has been charged with rape, following an attack on a woman in Windsor early on Saturday morning.
The 19-year-old victim left Liquid nightclub in William Street just before 3am. She got into a car in Alexandra Road, Windsor after being approached by two men who claimed it was a taxi.
She was sexually assaulted in the vehicle but managed to get out of the car when it stopped and run off.
Police were called and two men, aged 23 and 26 later arrested and kept in custody over the weekend.
Anshul Sharma, 23, of Hencroft Street South, Slough was later charged with rape and remanded in custody at Slough magistrates court this morning. The second man was released without charge.
