The battle over plans for a day nursery on the site of the old Our Lady of Lourdes church in Old Windsor is still raging - 18 months after permission was given to build it.
Planning councillors granted Poppies Day Nurseries permission in December 2011 to demolish the church in St Luke's Road and put the nursery in its place. They did this despite fierce opposition from ward councillors who felt a nursery would cause traffic chaos on a busy road as parents and staff converged every day.
But a condition of the permission was that parking restrictions be agreed on the road outside the new nursery.
Now Poppies is to formally ask councillors to drop that condition when they meet again on Wednesday.
Old Windsor councillors are expected to argue fiercely against this and borough planning officers will also advise the panel to insist on the restriction before the nursery can go-ahead.
The meeting will take place at Holy Trinity School in Sunningdale starting at 7pm.
