A property developer has put in a bid to buy the decaying old hospital building which has become a notorious Windsor eyesore.
Bucks based Miff Chichester whose company St Congar Properties has just pulled out of plans to redevelop the old Imperial House site, confirmed this week he had put in a bid to buy the old Princess Christian Hospital building in Clarence Road.
The building has stood empty and decaying despite planning permission to turn it into 15 homes being granted six years ago.
Exasperated Royal Borough planning councillors have been demanding to know why the building - on a key entry road into Windsor - has been allowed to get into its current state, as confusion has grown about who actually owns the site.
