Vandals have damaged the hedge surrounding a village play area.
They wrenched a hole in the hedge in the recreation ground at Robin Willis Way, Old Windsor between 9pm Sunday and 9.30am Monday.
They also managed to put the trapese swing in the play area out of action by lifting it over the top of its rail and looping it.
Parish council chairman Cllr Jane Dawson said: "It was obviously adults because children would not have had the strength.
"Our parish clerk John Lee released the swing but the hedge has a nasty hole where boughs have been wrenched off.
"You cannot replant in a hole, only wire the hedge together and hope it grows back. You wonder what people get out of this sort of vandalism?"
Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
