A swimming club for children with Down's Syndrome has received a boost after a golf society donated £800.
Electric Eels, based at Windsor Leisure Centre in Stovell Road, was given the money by Nomads Golf UK on Saturday.
It will be used to fund volunteers to teach children with the genetic condition to swim and potentially progress to a competitive level.
Chairman Dominic Trotman, said: "This is a fantastic donation and will enable some of our dedicated volunteers to attend specialist courses to develop their swimming teaching skills which will then be used to help the children further."
