An open day giving children information about how to get into work was held at an energy firm in Windsor.
The Centrica Work Ready Day, run by Slough firm Learning to Work (LTW), took place on Friday, July 12, at the Maidenhead Road-based company.
It was attended by more than 180 14 to 15-year old pupils from Windsor Girls' School in Imperial Road.
Volunteers from Centrica ran activities including a fun challenge about the energy industry, put on workshops and answered questions about working life.
Nancy Lalor, operations manager for LTW, said: "The enthusiasm and motivation from team Centrica was fantastic and really helped the girls to get engaged in the tasks and challenges set."
LTW are looking for more businesses to run open days.
