Five men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 24 year-old man in Windsor this morning (Sunday 28 July).
Police were called to Barry Avenue at 3.09am after an altercation between a group of men.
Police said the victim, who has not been named, was stabbed during the incident and taken to the Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.
He later died from his injuries.
A 27-year-old man from Harrow, a 26-year-old man from London, a 21-year-old man from Leighton Buzzard, and two men from from Luton aged 21 and 26 have been arrested.
Superintendent Jim Weems of Thames Valley Police said: "The investigation is in its early stages and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the altercation, or has information about the incident to contact police.
"I would like to reassure the community that incidents such as these are extremely uncommon, and that we are investigating the incident thoroughly."
