Burglary prevention events are being held at libraries.
They start at Ascot Durning Library on Thursday from 10.30am-noon.
Visitors will be given crime reduction advice, hints and tips for keeping homes safer. There will also be examples of locks, alarms and garden security devices.
Cllr Carwyn Cox, cabinet member with responsibility for community safety, said: "Burglary affects people’s property but far worse are the psychological effects."
"I would urge residents to come along to the roadshows as it could prevent a crime."
