Superintendent Simon Bowden, LPA commander for the area, says he would like to see them 'higher' as it means more are being found and taken off the streets by the force.
He said it shows officers are searching and detecting people carrying them better and the amount was a 'small number'.
The number rose across Windsor and Maidenhead by 38 per cent from April 1-June 30 compared to the same period last year.
