Leading Royal Borough politicians will join Tories from the wider world for a big event at the Castle Hotel next month.
Home Secretary Theresa May - who is Maidenhead's MP, will join Windsor MP Adam Afriyie, former cabinet member John Redwood, MEP Daniel Hannan and author Toby Young for a Conservative Renewal conference on Saturday, September 14.
More than 300 guests are expected at the hotel in Windsor High Street. Topics discussed will range from the EU to immigration, the Conservative arts policy to the BBC licence fee.
Adam Afriyie, who will chair a Question Time-style panel, said: “There is a particularly strong and varied range of top-class speakers throughout the day and we are keen to hear a range of opinions of those young and old, Conservative and non-Conservative.”
Councillor George Bathurst, one of the event’s organisers, said: “Audience participation is key."
